You can purchase DVDS and books by the great painter Richard Schmid, but did you know you could get monthly lessons with photos of each step. Go to http://www.swatlandstudios.com/home.html and you can subscribe. It is reasonably priced. I am not often attracted to landscape, but I did enjoy doing this one and like the loose, fresh look of the strokes. His limited palette is also very nice.
