A Gentle Touch

This is another attempt at learning watercolor.  This is a larger 12 x 16 inch watercolor on rough 300 lb Arches paper.  I am still struggling to keep the highlights unpainted.  That is so different from other mediums.  I do like the looseness of this one.

Trying Watercolors...

Not sure what made me want to give them a try, but this is my first attempt.  This is George and he was all dressed up for his parents wedding.  This one is sold.
