Teal Plate with Olives

For Sale in Etsy
The colors of teal and "shrimp" are some of my favorites. I found this plate at an outlet and just knew the colors were worth replicating. Olives were just part of dinner that night. This is another 8 x 8 (love square paintings) on masonite with acrylic paints.

  1. Beautiful color combination in this, I see what you mean about teal and shrimp!

Are you painting the Victorian house for the DSFDF challenge?

  2. Kim, thanks so much. Yes, I am trying the Victorian house and struggling with it. Promised myself I would have something though and not let the challenge go by. Thanks so much for commenting and viewing.

  3. Anne Marie, thanks for your encouraging words on my victorian house post. It was definitely a challenge. I'm looking forward to seeing yours. I enjoy your work very much, my favorites are the Teal Plate with Olives and Cafe at Lunch. I see that you are from Charlotte. My husband and i are moving from Omaha Ne to Greenville, SC in just a week and a half! Do you do art fairs? Hopefully I can see your work in person soon.

  5. Jacki and Conrad, thanks so much. I am working on the Victorian today and enjoying a challenge. Architecture is not my usual.

jacki, you will love Greenville. I haven't done any art fairs but am addicted to taking classes in the Greenville/Spartanburg and Asheville area. They have wonderful artist study opportunities in the area. I will try to send you some links.
