I absolutely adore the texture of a palette knife painting. This one, I think..., turned out well. The photo was generously donated in the Wet Canvas reference library. I would love to hear your thoughts on this one. It is a 10 x 10 inch oil palette knife on rough cotton Raymar canvas.
I really like your use of the palette knife here, Anne. The texture is great, yet the little girls have a delicate quality about them. It's a lovely painting.
ReplyDeleteThis painting is fun and alive! There's such movement and I agree, the palette knife used as you did works very well. My eye wants to dance around the whole thing and keep exploring. Congrats on the sale. I'm sure the new owners will be thrilled with it!
