It was a lovely weekend in the mountains of western NC. It was about 6 degrees last week but was almost 70 this weekend. I enjoyed painting so much that I accomplished two! Hope you enjoy looking!
Hello Anne Marie - It must have been a 2 painting weekend because that's what I accomplished, as well - waiting to post after a little drying time. These are great, I'll be back to see more.
I especially like your still life, you have very good color sense. What kind of surface do you paint on? I like the texture and quality of your brushstrokes.
Carol, I am so honored by your comments and your questions as I look at your blog and am inspired daily. I use gesso on masonite about 95% of the time. I like the smooth surface and I use Old Holland acrylics which have gorgeous colors that look like oils...but dry faster!
Beautiful paitining...makes me want to escape this cold weather and go to the beach!
