Lotus Chef

This is a larger painting for me.  It is 12 x 16 impressionist painting with an abstract background.  It is so hard for you to see the abstract strokes but that is my favorite part.

Apple Branch

I really like the vibrant colors of these apples!  I took the photograph that this painting is based upon last year when the apples were ready to be picked in Hendersonville, NC.  The reds were so beautiful!  This is an 8 x 10 inch painting.

Wanna Hold The Puppy!

Original oil painting done from photograph taken by the artist at the Saluda, NC Coon Dog Festival.  The smallest of the girls was a little upset that the other girl would not let her hold the puppy.  Loved the interaction and drama.

The beagle was so cute and so sweet.  Gotta love beagles!

STYLE
The style of this piece is impressionist and utilizing a large amount of palette knife painting as well as loose brush strokes.  Piece is 12 x 16 inches on linen.  It is not for sale at this time as it is entered into a competition.  A smaller version is in the works and will be for sale at my Etsy (9 x 12 inch).

Cade

And this is Caroline's older brother. Again, I hope the parents like this as he is just adorable. I loved that his hair was blowing in the breeze.

Caroline

Caroline is a commission of a friend's daughter. I hope I have done her justice as she has the most amazing blue eyes and gorgeous blond curls.
