My husband and two of our sons and one son-in-law take an annual hunting trip to Saskatchewan Canada. This past year they took some great photos and this is representative of one of the scene they captured. Original pastel 8 x 10 inch.

Egg Study

I struggle with still life subjects that I find interesting. I am just not that interested in painting a vase of flowers or a bowl of fruit. Not sure why this one interests me but I just enjoyed the simple shapes and the subtle colors.
